About Us – Pro Bono Legal Advice Clinic
Justice Is Not a Privilege
We are a community-led initiative of volunteer lawyers, barristers and legal professionals committed to making free, high-quality legal guidance available to everyone — regardless of income, background or circumstance.
Bridging the Justice Gap
The Pro Bono Legal Advice Clinic was founded in 2019 with a simple but powerful belief: that access to legal guidance should not depend on how much money you have. Every day, people face housing evictions, employment disputes, immigration challenges and family crises — often without any idea of their rights or where to turn.
Our volunteer team of qualified solicitors, barristers and legal professionals give their time freely to provide confidential, impartial guidance. We do not represent clients in court, but we help them understand their situation, know their rights and take the right next steps.
Important: We provide legal information and guidance, not formal legal advice or representation. For complex matters, we will signpost you to appropriate solicitors or legal aid services.
Our Core Values
Access to Justice
We believe everyone deserves legal guidance regardless of their financial situation or background.
Compassion First
We approach every case with empathy, dignity and a genuine commitment to helping people navigate difficult situations.
Integrity & Ethics
Our advice is independent, impartial and always in the best interests of the person we are helping.
Inclusive Community
We serve everyone — regardless of nationality, language, immigration status or ability to pay.
Real Change for Real People
Since 2019, we have helped hundreds of people across London and beyond navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives. Our impact is measured not just in numbers, but in the families kept together, the homes saved and the rights upheld.
